What is a Site Map?

 A site is a web site and a map is a map or image.  Site Map is a web site map.  That is, a map of where a post, image, category is on a web site.

Why create a site map?

 There are many requirements for creating a site map.  Well, you have come to the first fence in Dhaka city.  You do not know what the city of Dhaka is, where you will go.  Now if you have a map of Dhaka city then you can know where the city of Dhaka is.  Then it will be easier for you to know the route and you can easily travel anywhere by looking at the map.  Having a map allows you to easily find out what is in place in Dhaka city.  In the same way if you create a map of your web site and hand it to Google or other search engines, when their robot or crawler comes to index your web site, they will be easy to find where a post, image or category is.  .  Then they will be able to easily post your web site or index other topics.

Method 1 :

If you are a WordPress user then login to your web site.  If you have All In One SEO Pack installed, go to Feature Manager by clicking All In One SEO Pack.  After going to the Feature Manager, you will see a page like this.  Notice that XML Sitemaps are written.  Beneath this is Activate.  Now click on Activate to create a site map.  Your web site's site map has become active, with just a few settings left.

 Click on All In One SEO Pack.  You see there is a new thing called XML Sitemap that was not there before.  You've been active a while ago.  Click the XML Sitemap.  Now name your site map in the Filename Prefix cell.  Then tick Notify Google, Notify Bing.  This means that you want to tell Google and Bing search engines about your sitemap.  Check the Enable Sitemap Indexes.  Now, in the Post Types cell, just tick the Posts.  Then, only the map of your post will be created in the Sitemap.  If you tick all of them, then you will see 5 posted but Google page index is showing exactly 5 and the site map will see more URL than post.  No further changes need to be made.  Just click on the Update Sitemap at the end.  Diameter, sitemap of your web site has been created.

Method 2 :

How do people who don't use WordPress create a site map?  

This method can be followed or followed by everyone.  Those who use WordPress or any other CMS or other platform can easily create a sitemap of your web site if you follow the rules below.  That is, if it does not follow the first method, everyone will follow this procedure.  There is a great web site online that creates a sitemap of any web site for free.  Let's see how to do that.

 First visit https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/.

 You will see a page like this.  Enter the URL of my web site in the URL field to show you how to write your URL.  Enter the URL or address of your web site exactly.  There is no need to make any further changes.  At the end, see Start is written.  Click on Start.

 Now they will create your sitemap.  Once your Sitemap is created, they will give you a few methods to download.
