The biggest Christmas celebration of Christmas has come.  Not only Christians but people of other faiths all over the world observe this day.  On December 25, almost everyone decides to cut a cake or decorate a Christmas tree with lights.  The Christmas tree decorated with garlands of light washed over our eyes for Christmas. 

But why?

  Many years ago the first Christmas tree in Northern Europe began.  This tree is considered as a symbol of happiness and prosperity.  People in Northern Europe believed that planting this fur tree at home would drive away evil power.  From there, the Christmas tree decoration began.  And now the toys, chocolates, bells are hung from the Christmas tree with the garland of light.

  The Christmas tree is also associated with the birth of Jesus Christ.  After the birth of Jesus, who greeted his parents Joseph and Mary, they decorated their evergreen pear tree with light in their home.  From then on, on the birthday of Jesus, the custom of decorating this tree began.  It is believed that this tree was the first to plant the game for Adam and Eve.

 The modern Christmas tree was first seen in Germany in the 16th century.  Christmas trees became popular around the world in the 18th century.

  Now let's come to the context of Santa Claus.  The name Santa Claus is actually derived from the Dutch Sinterklaas name, meaning Saint Nicholas.  St. Nicholas was a fourth-century bishop of Christianity.  Along with other generous contributions, he was especially known for caring for children and giving gifts.
